The JavaScript will attempt to signal an orderly disconnect. If this cannot occur before the browser forces the reload, then the connection will time out and disconnect itself after roughly 15 seconds. In general, reloading the page will successfully disconnect and is equivalent to closing and restarting a native RDP client. - Mike
