We're about to upgrade our Hadoop cluster - on which we primarily run HBase - from Hadoop 3.2.4 (HBase 2.5.8) to Hadoop 3.4.1 (HBase 2.5.12). Is there anything I need to be especially aware of? Do I need to upgrade to the latest 3.3 before moving on to 3.4? I didn't find any hints in the documentation - maybe I didn't look hard enough. I am of course consulting the overviews and release notes for the versions in between. At the same time we are also switching from openjdk-8 to openjdk-17 - are there any tips for configuration I should follow?
