this ones a little more strange.
hive> create view foo_vw as select * from foo;
OK
Time taken: 0.376 seconds
hive> drop view foo_vw;
FAILED: Execution Error, return code 1 from
org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.exec.DDLTask.
MetaException(message:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException:
java.net.URISyntaxException: Relative path in absolute URI:
NULL::character%20varying)
i want to say this is somehow related to a java version (we're using 8) but
i'm not sure.
any insights on how to go from here?
