Could you please confirm my understanding?
Normally, the indexed repository created by bndtools should work “out of the
box” with Karaf. However, currently there are two issues impeding such use:
1) Karaf does not allow an index to have relative URLs
2) For some unknown reason, the index file is not being loaded by Cave
These issues will be fixed (within the next few weeks???).
In the meantime, as a workaround:
1) Edit the index.xml file and replace all relative URLs with absolute URLs
2) Avoid Cave and instead use the resourceRepositories configuration for
org.apache.karaf.features
(being sure to restart Karaf upon each update)
