Hi all

I remember a mail in the "Re: Release 2.0.3: Kupu / TinyMCE / FCKEditor"
that says something like that "separate the thread about release and the
thread about editor situation".

I order to clarify the editor situation, I would like to suggest this :

- Define a set of objectives criteria (no criteria like "I love it", "it's
cool")
- After that, create a tab on the wiki like behind :
- quote each editor for each criteria (+0 and -0 are not allowed, allowed =
-2,-1,0,+1,+2)
         | editor 1 | editor 2 | .....
---------------------------------------
criteria1| +1 | +2
--------------------------------------
criteria2| -1 | 0
-------------------------------------
....

About criteria, I think to :
- browser compatibility
- (x)html respect (a tag soup in output or not)
- number of editor's functionnality
- time to load the editor
- compatibility between editor's function and Lenya
- editor community
- editor possible future
- respect between the editor's view and the visitor view (ex : <h1> in blue
times in editor ; in red verdana in lenya page)
- ...

For sure, an open list ! :)

IMO such an evaluation would help user to select his editor, contributor to
know where he can help, dev to select editors in the release.

have a good day
