I think that's possible. I can't find where the change would be made at
the moment to move the pubs directory. You simply could just make a
symlink.

True. I think in many cases, the person who publishes the content is
also the reviewer. So it hasn't been an issue in the past, but it may be
something we should look at adding.
Can you disable the i18n support? I got some errors on setting links to X
which made the browser look for X_de which did not exist. I'd like to have
all pages in german only without any i18n suffixes.
I don't know the answer to this one. Can someone else answer?

Yes, you can edit the modules available to a publication. You may also
have to edit the menu entries, depending on which editors you want to
restrict it to.
I did not find a link to bugzilla on the web page, did I overlook it? Or do
you plan to go to Jira?
From the community tab the left hand navigation has a link to the Bug
Tracker. Where were you looking for it? We may need to put it there too.
