...and staging/live with Exorcist in its current form doesn't really work with Midgard 1.8. The latest CVS version has some fixes, and together with some more changes and a couple of Schema tweaks, I managed to make it replicate at least Topics, Articles, Parameters and Attachments, but without most of the Metadata. I can provide my changes if you want to try it (and if I can still find them :-), but if you're using other types of content, you might have to do more debugging. Maybe the (really old) repligard replication works better, but somehow, I doubt it...
