Henri, we can actually consume index from a custom url. Basically you
can store the same nexus-maven-repository-index.properties and
nexus-maven-repository-index.zip files in arbitrary location and then
specify that location url as an "index update url" in the index
configuration (Maven Indexes / Edit index).
