You said you were able to get the core M2E plug-ins installed.
If so, can you run "Help/Report Maven Issue..."? This will give us
some more information about your configuration.

I've been able to update the mandatory module of M2Eclipse and
narrowed the problem to occur when trying to update the POM Editor
(not the XML editor). The problem has been on since the beginning
of the week.
Is it just me?
