I've had packages of the stable release, 1.2.5, ready for quite some
time, but haven't had the time to recompile them with the latest debian
unstable apache. Alan, if you want to take them over, please do. The
packages can be found at:

I also have packages of 1.4beta5, but haven't had the time to recompile
them for beta7. I also planned integrating midgard-php build scripts
with the debian "main" php build scripts, so that they would be compiled
with the same options, and all that same extensions would be available
with both versions.

I couldn't find you from the debian developers database, nor from the NM
queue. Have you considered getting the packages into debian proper?
