I've already warned that Asgard version from beta7 and earlier
releases wouldn't be final and that's the reason of such behaviour:
GUIDs are changed.

Mod_midgard's 'make conf' is deprecated. We'll remove it in 1.4.1,

Old Admin site will be deprecated in 1.4.1 I think and it is not
Repligard-safe so I don't know who will work on fixing it...
