OK. To summarize, MWS used to be a weekly (later bi-weekly) collection of announcements, happenings and discussions in the Midgard project. The idea is to collect three to five items of interest, be they new features, applications, interesting sites or discussed new developments, do a short write-up on those (1-2 paragraphs), and add links to the relevant sites or messages on the Midgard mailing list archive. I ran the MWS for about one year. When I went to army, Ron and later Ken took over the publication. Last summer the stream of MWSs slowed down, and the last one was published on October 31st. When I ran the MWS, I targeted the weekly release to late Wednesday so that it hit that week's edition of Linux Weekly News. If you already read midgard-user and midgard-dev actively, collecting the news items and putting a MWS release together should take only an hour or so. When it is ready, it can be published on the MWS delivery mailing list and the Midgard web site. As there have been no MWSs for a while, I'd do longer features on midgard-lite and PHPMole for the first issue.
