As part of our implementation of Squid Cache for our Migard implementation, I wrote some code that can be easily used by anyone who is using a Nemein Navbar site. It also has code for caching images that are being served by Aegir's /attachments page. We are very impressed with the results and recommend it highly. After reading a fair bit about caching, I've become a convert and I suggest all web developers implement appropriate caching.
