Continuing to try to get Midgard Lite running from a subdirectory, I've come to question whether the 0.8.2 distro works at all in certain areas.
I identified several locations in the admin PHP pages included in the distro, in which the prefixes were apparently not included in the URLs. Grabbing a bit of php from another page which *does* grab the prefix, I was able to get the main introductory page to point to the correct URLs for the admin interfaces, example site, and images. For whatever reason, the same code didn't work in the PHP code for the Asgard page, so I tried hardcoding the subdirectory. Not good practice, but it seemed to work as a temporary workaround. But then clicking on a link - "Create new : host" for instance - simply dumps me back on the main introduction page. So I decided to throw in the towel for the moment, and reload the package from scratch, this time in the root directory. I can't leave it there, but it might show me what I'm doing wrong. Well, reinstalling in the root cleared up problems from the many hardcoded URLs, but Asgard still throws me back to the main page when a "Create New" link is clicked. Is there any reasonably complete description of what actually works in Midgard Lite 0.8.2? Is there at least one of the admin interfaces that works? This isn't meant to imply a criticism - I'm just trying to know what's practical to achieve with the Lite version at this time, and what areas I may be spinning my wheels on. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
