So am I. I'm reinstalling the whole Degian Sarge from scratch and I'm going to re-install Midgard from scratch as well (this because I do not know how deep is concealed this problem among Apache, Apache2, MySQL and so on). It will take some time because XFree86 does not like my Philips monitor so I have to find a good vsync/hsync/resolution setting by hand. I'll let you know about this new attempt to install midgard.
