Honest. I do look at the documentation before I ask the questions, but
there's a lot of examples and XML is more computer-readable than human :)

I don't generally browser for files. I use Ecipse's "Open resource" where I
just type part of the name. So, I'd like jnlp to be in the file name, at the
least.
My instinct is to name it after the actual JNLP name "Foo.jnlp.template", but
there's a nagging feeling in the back of my head that says that's a bad idea.
I don't use eclipse too much. In IDEA you can say *.vm and it will
only show the Velocity templates. But that assumes you know the
extension...
I didn't use jnlp because it was part of the directory name and i
didn't want redundancy. Now that makes me think it might have been
better as template and .vm are somewhat redundant. I will think
whether I should change it again before alpha-2. That sounds like a
valid request.
Would src/main/jnlp/jnlp.vm be OK for you ?
