Well something has changed in the last year. From 2.5 on cobertura
should be able to produce aggregate information, see:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MCOBERTURA-65.
When configuring the plugin as in
https://github.com/mfriedenhagen/multi-module-sample/blob/fd784cfdb1d4c7543e298b1bc7d22a7718a234d8/pom.xml
and invoking "mvn clean install cobertura:cobertura", I see an
aggregated cobertura report in target/site/corbertura as well as
individual reports in MODULE/target/site/corbertura. However
invocation of site alone does not seem to pick up the plugin properly.
