normally I get a client up and running with OOTB, like today. then i add in the modules as they are needed. in this case I will be adding in the Yahoo store interface later this month.
This lets the client start to get some familiarity and use, instead of waiting till the project is complete. I have found it also generated more customization as they see what they want.
