But, I didn't keep my changed files in hot-deploy rather I changed it directly of some framework's and specialpurpose's component. Now,I am planning to move the changes into hot-deploy folder which requires some effort. Is there any other alternative please suggest. If you've changed the standard UI files, then upgrade might be difficult. It depends on the types of changes you made. However if you followed the recommendations and placed all your custom code under hot-deploy, upgrade should be much simpler. Notice I said "simpler" and not "simple". You'll need to upgrade a development system first, and test thoroughly. Unless your changes are minor, things will probably be broken and you'll have to fix them.
