great thanks, ok the manufacturing process sound perfectly. Concerning the extra information i am not sure, if virtual / variants does the job I need. F.eX. the repair is for about 5000 models, so I dont want the customer to choose it in a drop down, I want him to write the information in a form on checkout, or on product page. These information has to be shown in the backend system on the order etc.
