Hi Ali,
I have followed the guidelines provided by the openmeetings documentation
which is as follows-

A valid example to configure the mail server with Gmail, is as follows:
(replace j...@gmail.com with your real Gmail account)

Mail-Refer == i...@gurucoool.com
SMTP-Server == smtp.gmail.com
SMTP-Server Port (default
Smtp-Server Port is 25) == 587
SMTP-Username == i...@gurucoool.com
SMTP-Userpass == password of i...@gurucoool.com (this is the one I use to
open the mail box at i...@gurucoool.com)
Enable TLS in Mail Server Auth == ...turn green the button to activate
Default Language == English

...the rest you can change it as you likes.

However can it would be a great help if you can clarify what actually you
mean by the following-

Host name is wrong or
Connection security is wrong or
service is not available or

Thanks
Jitendra
