Sqoop as Standalone without Hadoop Cluster

Hello,

I'd like to know if it's possible to execute Sqoop without a Hadoop
Cluster in standalone mode, like a JDBC Client.

So, it'd copy the result in the filesystem and I guess that it needs
the hadoop libraries .
Is it possible??
