I know result-types are, and I'd be pretty surprised if the other two
weren't as well.  File a JIRA ticket to get the docs updated, or file
a CLA [1] and get access to change them yourself.

Is this true? I would like to know if
<global-results>, <result-types>, and
<global-exception-mappings> also get inherited when
extending a package. My guess is that they do get
inherited and the docs are just not up to date.

Anyone know?
