Synapse supports via the im-mediator instant messages. Any support for
email sending planned?
We already support sending emails through the mail transport that as
been added by Asankha, I have written an EMail mediator but with the
introduction of the new mail transport one can achieve all the
functionality of that mediator through the transport easily using a
send mediator. Do you think we should add a EMail mediator to send
emails with arbitrary message body?
Yes, I would prefer that for build up a powerful notification framework
:-) Moreover, it would be useful to have the possibility to build own
messages based on templates and put them in the registry for later
reuse. I think monitoring is one of the keypoints of SOA (Business
Activity Monitoring (BAM)) .

Can be done by pluggin the usermanager into Synapse

Created JIRA issue in Synapse and ESB
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SYNAPSE-263
https://wso2.org/jira/browse/ESBJAVA-446
Sorry, I think, WSO2 ESB should only deliver a gui for the message
store
whereas the functionality should be inside Synapse.
Exactly, we will add the core functionality to Synapse while keeping
the UI bits for ESB
ok...
Thanks,
Ruwan
