Synapse does have the ability to collect statistics on sequences, proxy services and endpoints. However there is no direct way of exposing them. Therefore you will have to write a bit of custom code to get the numbers out process them according to your specific needs.
WSO2 ESB mediation stats component is based on this capability. So you can have a look at that impl to get an idea.
