Just a clarification on this xml element (annotatorImplementationName), from UIMA documentation:
"The next subelement, <annotatorImplementationName> is how the UIMA framework determines which annotator class to use. This should contain a fully-qualified Java class name for Java implementations, or the name of a .dll or .so file for C++ implementations." So add the fully class name which implements your AE in the annotatorImplementationName.
