vmware server 2.0.2 will not run on CentOS/RH version 6, you need to
use version 5.  I believe it is because of kernel data structure
changes in 6 - maybe kvm support related but not certain.

However, either CentOS/RH versions 5 or 6 are fine for the web front
end and database servers.

We have three physically separate servers and are running Oracle Linux
5 update 8 (same as Centos/RH 5.8) on our management node with VMware
Server 2.0.2 build-203138.  The web front end and database machines
are both running Red Hat 6.3.  This configuration has been stable and
closely mirrors the instructions on the cwiki site.
