Hi Emir,

Thanks for asking. We are very mindful of the fact that we haven't gotten a
release out in a really long time and are sorry we haven't been able to do
that. There have been several factors that have kept delaying us. However,
we do have plans to start really working toward a new release.

I'm not aware of anyone actively doing development to maintain support for
OpenStack. If anyone is working on this, please correct me!

I know Ubuntu 22.04 and 20.04 work fine as long as you switch from netplan
back to the old method of using /etc/network/interfaces [1]. I imagine 22.10
would also work. We do plan on supporting netplan in the next release.

I'm pretty sure Rocky and AlmaLinux 8 and 9 both work without changes. If you
try them and have trouble, post on this list and we'll help get them working.
We'll definitely ensure they are supported in the next release. We're also
planning on making sure vcld runs correctly on AlmaLinux to use as a base
distro for management nodes.

Windows 10 has been supported for a long time. I think Windows 11 works with
just a few tweaks. Again, we plan to ensure both 10 and 11 are supported in
the next release.

I'm not sure when to say the next release will be out, but it will definitely
take at least a few months.

Josh
