Hi Francisco No, only one broker is active at a time. The master is active and has the lock, the slave is started but passive waiting for the lock.
I just tried and it works without problem for me: I purged, deleted queue on master console without problem. If I stop master, the slave become the master and consistent in term of queue (at least for the persistent queue). I tested with ActiveMQ 5.15.15, 5.16.5 and 5.17.1. Can you please share your version, activemq.xml and test case ?
