The .xinfo file for the component in question is attached, for what it's
worth...

Seriously,
I think it would help if you send over the meta files for your block(s) (look 
for *.x* in build destination).

I suspect that the component is "transient" instead of "singleton", which 
could explain the behaviour you are describing.
