ComponentA depends on ComponentB,
ComponentC depends on ComponentD.
C/D is an island, A/D is another island, they got nothing in common.
So if C/D fails, I could imagine that Merlin decides that A/B is ok.

But I am not sure, Stephen have to figure this out.
