I'd actually like to redo the Developing with Avalon and have a more generic
introduction to Inversion of Control / Separation of Concerns white paper

There's spots in the wiki for updates!  (see the howto section).

I'll hopefully have a .war example for Merlin by this next weekend.

Sounds like a fine idea.  I was starting to do something similar with my
'mutuals' example.  And I think Timothy's webserver example is a good
candidate for this sort of thing.
