location etc.

Have you tried the Merlin tutorials yet?  That may be the best place to
start:

I've been away from JBoss for a little while, so I'm not sure how this
works
now.  Merlin currently needs to have access to a local repository on the
file system.  This repository will look something like
http://ibiblio.org/maven, though not nearly as big.  Perhaps the repository
could be in the SAR directory?  We've discussed how to make this more
flexible, but nothing's happened yet.
