I think the best and most productive way is the combination of the two
alternatives you stated before: let's discuss your requirements and
let's develop things together. And than bring all the exciting stuff
back to the community!

We as a company will definitely use Merlin in enterprise projects -
that's why we are engaged in the development of MerlinDeveloper (an
Eclipse based development environment for Avalon/Merlin), transparent
persistence, GUI abstraction layer etc...

Great things are right on the way to appear: Container independent
component specifications, core business components, pluggable system
facilities...

Let's share thought's. There are really bright brains in this community!
