how to run merlin inside an IDE

I'd like to run the whole application stack within the IDE (ex. Eclipse), 
how could I set it up? Currently, I manage to compile all the projects 
(framework, componets, etcs). But when I run the tests, it failed for 
bootstrap the repository which I don't need.

Any suggestion or I just could not do it,
