I guess my real question is like this. I am new to avalon. To understand the code more, I tried to run the test cases in my ide and tried to follow th debug trace. The problem is, when I ran the test, it tries to read the "avalon.properties" file and tries to load "avalon.repository.implementation" jar files instead of just using the "avalon-repository" project I created and compiled inside eclipse. I wonder if I could avoid the step loading jar files from repository - because the classes are already in the classpath.

Subject: how to run merlin inside an IDE
Date: Fri, 04 Jun 2004 22:40:14 +0000

I'd like to run the whole application stack within the IDE (ex. Eclipse), how could I set it up? Currently, I manage to compile all the projects (framework, componets, etcs). But when I run the tests, it failed for bootstrap the repository which I don't need.

Any suggestion or I just could not do it,

-Michael
