Does it work ?
I'm trying to understand how the different pieces work in order to help you (maybe) but i was'nt able to do anything until now.
I follow this :
I install OOo 1.1.4 from tar.gz for linux, into a specific directory (/opt/tar/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/)
I have java jre1.4.2 installed
I copy PyOObuib-02.zip into share/uno-packages/ and i run has mentionned pkgchk.
1) if PyOObib-02.zip is in the uno-package directory i get this error :
"[EMAIL PROTECTED] share]$ ../program/pkgchk -r -s -f -v uno_packages/PyOOBib-02.zip
> error: copying file:///opt/tar/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/share/uno_packages/PyOOBib-02.zip to file:///opt/tar/OpenOffice.org1.1.4/share/uno_packages/PyOOBib-02.zip: failed!

2) I tried to move the archive to the share directory and install it from there and i get that :

3) when i tried to launch ../program/python fullcomponent.py, which comes from the archive, i get the same kind of error (type socket)

Maybe someone would have an idea of what's wrong in my configuration ? Because I would love to use OOo instead of the couple Latex/Jabref, but until know, (and i've been reading the mailing list since septembre 2004, understanding a word out of five :-) ), i really don't know how to help you.
