One monopoly at a time is progress, nonetheless. I am using Biblioscape, which is equal or superior to Endnote in functionality, in part to avoid the ISI monopoly. For the same reason, I am trying to move from Windows to (Red Hat) Linux. Open Office is fine, and I am hooked on Ximian Evolution and GnuCash, but have to reboot to Windows several times a day to use my bibliographic database. I wonder if someone with more Linux experience would be willing to repeat this test with Biblioscape in place of Endnote? Failing that, is there any way to judge, if it works for Endnote it should also for Biblioscape? Thanks, Bruce Winterhalder, UC-Davis
