Thank you for your quick reply Willem, but I think I didn't catch it. Extracting the http:conduit configuration doesn't make it easier to decide at runtime whether or not the http:conduit should be applied or not.
However, we made a test using the HTTP protocoll instead of HTTPS and it works (including the http:conduit configuration). Did you expect this behavior or is it not reliable? Maybe CXF checks which protocol is used before the http:conduit is applied/executed?
