can you share the link 'CloudStack Advanced Network Tutorial' youre following, and which step youre having issues with? I'd also post the management-server.logs ( to http://paste.cloudstack.org) if you getting errors, say cant add host, or the like. We can attempt to troubleshoot the issue.
