Yes. I just noticed it right now myself. I dumped xml for a centos 7 guest on both installations and for the one that detects as /dev/vda, there is no virtio-scsi controller type in it's xml. However for another running on new ACS installation which detects disk as /dev/sda, there is "virtio-scsi" controller type in it's xml. I even tested it's write speed using dd and it is was awesome. I was worried wrongly :)
