I'm not sure about how to answer your question regarding ConfigDrive. I'm using the "Register a user data" form that is available in Cloudstack. Is it using ConfigDrive? If not, where can I change the behaviour? Regarding the note for VM deployed on XenServer/XCP-ng, I'll look into it and see if that change the result. For my knowledge, do people use the standard cloud image distributed by Ubuntu, Debian and some others for both KVM and XCP-ng or those are not working with XCP-ng (seems to work fine with KVM for the few I've tested)?
