I just tested and ProxyPass(Reverse) with exactly the same arguments keeps the session information

If I do ProxyPass(Reverse) /cocoon/subdir/ http://127.0.0.1:8080/cocoon/subdir/ my session information is kept.

Now I only need to find a way to link / to /cocoon/subdir/ because when I use that, I lose it again.

Hi,

I asked this before and I received some answers but I never got this to work.
When using ProxyPass and ProxypassReverse between Apache and Tomcat/Cocoon, I lose the Session variables.
It works when I do not use Apache.

It's a known phenomenom, it seems.

I read stuff that I should keep my ProxyPass the same: eg. ProxyPass / http://127.0.0.1:8080/
This does not seem to work when I use multiple passes, because I need to go from / to myserver:8080/cocoon/subdir/

I also had directives of the Lenya community
http://lenya.apache.org/1_2_x/components/deployment/proxying.html
This last thing is Chinese to me. I don't understand it.

Can somebody please share some light on it ?
