I thought Rodrigo wanted to use declarative services to implement a
command. That should be possible, right?

Can't see why not :-)
Because there is no integration of Declarative Services with the Felix
Shell yet :-) See FELIX-284. It is one of the top items on my plate,
actually.

Does Felix support Declarative Services to be used with these

Hello Felix Community,
Does Felix have an equivalent to Eclipse's CommandProvider
interface?
Yes. See:
http://felix.apache.org/site/apache-felix-shell-service.html
I want to provide the "hello" command to the shell.
Also, is this defined in a standard or does every OSGi
implementation
have it's own shell extending model?
Unfortunately, no. Not yet at any rate :-)

Karl
Thanks for your help,
Rodrigo
