Yes, it is true that Adobe has stopped development of AIR and browser
plug-ins on Linux and Adobe kept upping the minimum player version for Flex.
However, Justin seems to have done the work to allow you to use the Apache
Flex 4.9.0 release on older versions all the way back to 10.2/AIR2.6, so it
would be great to see someone actually try it out.
