Hi :)
Yes, just replying to the email is fine.

Hopefully this list is forgiving of any mistakes made by people new to the list
but so far you seem to be doing things perfectly.

To start a new question/topic/thread it is best to write a new email and get
the address into the "To" field. All the emails in a thread are kept together
so i saw Alex Thurgoods reply and can still see it at
http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/LibreOffice-unable-to-open-from-or-save-to-PogoPlug-td3459227.html
This email is slightly off-topic but still relevant to emails in this thread so
i used "Reply to" in order to keep the answer with the question.

There are a variety of ways of dealing with the emails from the lists. The 2
main tools are Nabble and GMane. Nabble makes the emails look like a fairly
normal forum. GMane makes them look more like a newsgroup thread. Many people
just use their normal email program.

Some people post answers at the bottom of replies and some at the top and
others try to intersperse their answers into the previous posts.

Each different method has it's quirks and advantages.
Regards from
Tom :)
