The signatures advice sounds mad to me.  You are right it does need changing 
but i doubt we could agree on something sensible.  The list is available to the 
general public around the world so posting phone numbers is very much NOT a 
good idea and definitely not a home address!  Personally i am usually wary 
about even letting people know which country i am in!  

On a different mailing list (nothing to do with LibreOffice) one girl wrote in 
that she was 16 and lived such and such place and would happily meet up with 
anyone on that list!  Someone did get in touch, but with her parents (not the 
girl) to warn them of the dangers and to let them know what their daughter had 
been doing online!  

I think the note must be for people thinking about taking a key position in TDF 
and 'must surely' be referring to non-private phone numbers and not the persons 
home address.
