Hi :) Base is like the big elephant in the room that evryone is avoiding talking about.
KOffice dealt with their database issues by just cutting it away from their project completely. Calligra took it on and all the Kexi devs moved there, or was it the other way around? Is KOffice completely dead yet or just struggling on? TDF is not willing to cut Base away but also is not putting any resources into developing it, not even a mailing list to hothouse ideas. A few individuals have put rather a lot of work in but they remain unsupported and largely unrecognised. I would think they'd make a big deal about announcing that, since it's been so long in the making... -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: users+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
