Hi :) I think the Extension manages to block the StartCentre/QuickStarter so that people can't inadvertently switch it on and then regret it. Seems a pretty smart move imo. Regards from Tom :)

What are you trying to accomplish ? If you want to have LibO apps loading faster there are other ways than to lauch the StartCenter.
