Hi :) Please can you try renaming you User Profile http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile that seems to fix most weird problems. Crashing might be something to do with an Extension/Add-on. Java sometimes causes crashes so do you happen to know which version of java you have got installed? Regards from Tom :)
